Its not an April Fool, but on 1st April responsibility of the bus pass scheme passes to Hampshire County Council.
Travel Tokens will no longer be issuesd by Basingstoke & Deane.

Save on your travel
The new Travel Pass needs a passport-sized photograph which can be expensive and difficult for some to obtain, requiring a trip to Andover or perhaps Basingstoke. However, thanks to a kind volunteer you can now get your photo in Whitchurch!

Get your photo from the Gill Nethercott Centre
A local volunteer Lynn Parnell has very kindly offered to take passport-sized photos*, in return for a small donation to the charity Headway. Lynn will be at the Gill Nethercott Centre at 10:30 for an hour to take the photos, which can be collected from Tuesday morning, from the Chemist on Newbury Street.

Enjoy a cuppa at the market too…
Don’t forget the Whitchurch Country Market is on at the same time! So pop along, visit the market, enjoy a cuppa and have your photo taken at the same time!

*(Note that these photos will NOT be suitable for an actual passport, as requirements are much stricter.)
