Inspired by the recent successes of British cycling, well the Tour de France if not the Olympic Road Race?
Fancy a pleasant pedal out into the countryside?
Join a cycle ride and BBQ leaving Whitchurch around 10.00am.
Total distance around 25-30 miles.
Cycle through the lanes towards Andover then to East Cholderton near Thruxton to enjoy a BBQ in the countryside hosted by the Brave Hearts Children’s Charity.
Have a great day out as well as supporting a very worthwhile cause.
Brave Hearts Children’s Charity is a small local charity. It exists to help support children under 16 who require help due to distress, financial hardship, family crisis, physical or mental handicap, or infirmity.
They can assist in providing special cycles, walking aids, wheelchairs and many other needs.
Registered Charity: 1005070
As the Charity says:
Some parents with children just need a little help in order for them to get through a family crisis, or a difficult time, we at Brave Hearts Children’s Charity Association, offer them a little hope and a chance for them to rebuild their children’s lives and make their lives a little better.
The ride is also organised in conjunction with Sustrans and joins the fresh Air Miles ride at Andover.
Wiggo Sideburns not necessary 😉
