Christmas is being  ‘turned on’ in Whitchurch with the grand switch on of the Christmas lights along with Gift Fairs, music, choirs and refreshments.
There are events and activities throughout the town being provided by local traders and organisations to welcome in the festive season.


The main programme consists of:

GILL NETHERCOTT CENTRE
5.00pm – 8.00pm Christmas Fair
Gift Stalls • Refreshments
(look for vouchers for free cuppa and cake)

SILK MILL
5.00pm – 8.00pm Craft Stalls at Mill
Outside Fair • Music • Mulled Cider outside, tea and coffee inside
6.30pm – 7.30pm Book Signing:
Whitchurch a Town in Hampshire past and present – A new book by Geoff Hide and Geoff Kelland

TOWN HALL FORECOURT
6.30pm Grand Switch on of Lights
Cinderella, and the Mayor and Mayoress switch on the Christmas Lights
Music and Carol Singing

LATE NIGHT SHOPPING
Shops open throughout the Town
Santas Grotto • Mince pies

METHODIST CHURCH
Refreshments
