WADS will be performing Terry Pratchett’s Carpe Jugulum at the Parish Hall on 22nd, 23rd, and 24th November at 7.30pm.
A story of vampires, witches, kings and queens. Of good overcoming evil. You just need to be sure you can tell the difference.
Carpe Jugulum follows on from the success of WADS’ production of Wyrd Sisters in 2007 – both plays being adaptations of stories from Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series.
Carpe Jugulum is a pastiche on the traditions of vampire literature, where vampires wear bright clothes, drink wine, and stay up until noon. It features the three witches from Wyrd Sisters, Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat.
