WHITCHURCH ANNUAL TOWN ASSEMBLY

AT THE
GILL NETHERCOTT COMMUNITY CENTRE
ON
TUESDAY 27TH APRIL 2010
AT 7.30 p.m.

Everyone is invited along to hear all about the numerous goings-on in town.

There will be reports by the various community organisations in town; the mayor will also report, as will Hampshire County Councillor, B&DBC Councillors, and others. The meeting is hosted and chaired by our Mayor, Councillor Vince Bradbury.

The Whitchurch Association, the charity that now manages all the SEEDA funded projects through to their completion, including the Bollards Art Project and the new Town Website, will also give a report on all the SEEDA projects. The status of all the remaining Town Centre Improvement Projects will be made by the Town Council / Whitchurch Association. This will include statements of work to date, work to be completed and budgets.

The reporters from the Basingstoke Gazette and Andover Advertiser have also been invited to attend to help spread the word about the great work going on in the town.

Given recent discussion in the community around some of the projects, this will be a great opportunity for clarification and for any questions to be asked – and answered – as all relevant people will be present.
