A weekend of celebration called ‘All Hands at All Hallows’ looks at the work of local charities supported by the church.

Whenever ’money’ and ‘church’ are mentioned in the same sentence, we assume that it is the church that is taking and that we are being asked to give. But did you know that All Hallows gives away some 10% of the money it collects from worshippers.
But where does this money go?

On Friday evening at 7.30pm the charities that the church has chosen to support in the coming year will each give a short presentation. These include Whitchurch Youth Project, Homestart and Emmaus.
There will also be presentations on the development of the church’s link with a parish in Newcastle Diocese and with the Church in Mityana, Uganda. The latest plans for the proposed new Church Room will be on show as well as an up-date on funding.

On Saturday the church will be open all day from 10.30am for a day of prayer. Displays about each of the charities will be arranged around the church. Everyone is welcome to come at any time during the day, to look at the displays and to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the church.

Sunday: The weekend will be concluded by a Praise Communion service on Sunday morning at 10am with music from the organ and the worship band.
