Jubilee Tea Dance

added Friday, June 8th, 2012

Diamond is not forever. So the Nethercott  Centre decided to celebrate with a Jubilee tea dance.

Did you waltz? Did you foxtrot? Many people joined in at the Nethercott Centre’s  first tea dance on June 5th.

Live music was played by Tacet, a branch of the Andover Light Orchestra.  After some gentle dancing, delicious cakes and tea were provided during a break, courtesy of H’s. Then onto the second half and more dancing was enjoyed.

Thank you to those who came along and helped to make this a real success. Many asked if it will be repeated, we would love to do it again, but long before the next jubilee!

Report should have said that the lovely wall hanging was done by crafty affairs.
